Mixed signals, the key to being sold the wrong life insurance

I have participated in hundreds of presentations some I gave and some I listened to. Having you ever been on the receiving end of a presentation where the hairs on your neck started to rise up? Why does this happen?
 
Often it sounds too good to be true and often is too good to be true. Your brain sees a multi-page document showing you how rich you are going to be, how much tax-free income you are going to get at retirement and how you can legally beat the tax man. Add to this the enthusiasm of your sales buddy and you have just discovered the next sliced bread that no one else knows about because it’s a secret. 
Your gut is telling you to be careful, ask questions, read everything. You know you are getting mixed signals and mixed feelings, but they are your buddy, they would never steer you wrong. You sign, pay, put in your file cabinet and never look back. Then one day you decide to read and ask questions, the gut feeling becomes a knot.
